Beauty of Joseon

Beauty of Joseon is a Korean brand founded in 2017, recognized for the quality of its hanbang formulas and the transparency of its INCI lists. It is distributed in over 30 countries and is regularly cited among the top-performing K-Beauty brands by specialized communities. Its sunscreens, in particular, have received several awards in independent dermatological comparisons. Like all cosmetics sold in the European Union, its products are subject to the ban on animal testing, in effect since 2013.

It depends on your goal. For sun protection: the Relief Sun Rice + Probiotics SPF50+, praised for its texture and lack of white cast. For radiance and evenness: the Glow Serum Propolis + Niacinamide. Serums (Glow, Calming, Revive Eye) are to be used morning and evening on clean skin. Sunscreen should only be applied in the morning, as the last step before makeup. Dynasty Cream can be used in the evening only for normal skin, and morning and evening for very dry skin. Cleansers are designed for daily use. The Revive Eye Serum with retinal should be introduced gradually: start 2 to 3 evenings a week before moving to daily use.

Most of the range is formulated without fragrance and denatured alcohol, making it suitable for reactive skin. The Calming Serumwith centella asiatica and rice is specifically designed for sensitive or inflamed skin. The sunscreens are dermatologically tested. However, avoid introducing several new products at once: integrate one product at a time over 2 weeksto identify any potential reactions.

Most products are compatible, but some active ingredients require verification. The retinal in Revive Eye Serum is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, like all vitamin A derivatives. Other products in the range: propolis, niacinamide, rice, centella, have no known contraindications. In any case, consult your doctor or midwife before incorporating new skincare products during pregnancy.
