DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Overactive skin, enlarged pores, dull complexion: aggressive chemical exfoliation is often the cause, not the solution.

Beauty of Joseon's Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel provides mechanical exfoliation thanks to 8% plant-derived cellulose from cotton, without acids or abrasive particles. The cellulose forms small rolls upon contact with the skin, removing dead cells without damaging the skin barrier.

The result: refined skin texture, less visible pores, and a brighter complexion from the first use. The ideal skin types to target are: combination to oily skin, sensitive skin, or skin that reacts to conventional exfoliants.

What sets this formula apart: the complete absence of PEGs, artificial colors, and fragrances, in a base of 19% hydrating plum blossom water.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

How to use Beauty of Joseon's Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel?

  1. Double cleansing (evening): Start with a Korean cleansing oil to dissolve sebum and makeup, then follow with a foaming Korean facial cleanser to purify without drying.
  2. Exfoliation with this product (1 to 2 times a week): Apply a pea-sized amount of the peeling gel to dry or slightly damp skin, massage in circular motions until cellular debris forms, then rinse with lukewarm water. Do not use on the same day as a chemical exfoliant.
  3. Toner: After rinsing, apply a Korean toner to rebalance skin pH and prepare the skin for subsequent treatments.
  4. Serum or essence: Take advantage of cleansed and smoothed skin to maximize the absorption of a Korean serum targeted to your concern (radiance, hydration, acne).
  5. Moisturizer: Finish with a Korean moisturizer to seal in hydration and support the skin barrier after exfoliation.
  6. Sunscreen (morning): On subsequent days, protect regenerated skin with a Korean SPF 50 sunscreen, as exfoliated skin is more sensitive to UV rays.

Frequently Asked Questions About Beauty of Joseon - Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel

check_box

How often should I use the Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel?

1 to 2 times a week is the recommended frequency, depending on your skin's tolerance. Sensitive skin types should start once a week and gradually increase if no reaction occurs. More than twice a week, cell renewal may be disrupted, and the skin may react with redness or temporary dehydration.

check_box

Is Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel suitable for oily skin and enlarged pores?

Yes, this gel is particularly suitable for this skin type. The plant cellulose unclogs pores by removing sebum plugs and dead cells without irritating the skin. Plum flower water provides polyphenols that help regulate sebum production. Expected results after 3 to 4 weeks of regular use: visibly refined pores and a more matte complexion.

How to use the Beauty of Joseon Peeling Gel without irritating the skin?

Apply the gel to clean, dry skin, never to irritated skin or an active cut. Massage in gentle circular motions for a maximum of 30 to 60 seconds, without pressing. Do not combine with a chemical exfoliant (AHA, BHA) on the same day. For first-time use, test on a small area of the face before extending to the entire face.

check_box

How long does it take to see results with Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel?

Skin appears smoother and the complexion more radiant from the very first use. The effects on pores and skin tone evenness become more pronounced after 3 to 4 weeks of regular use, once or twice a week. Results vary depending on skin type and frequency of use.

Can Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel be used with vitamin C or retinol?

Yes, but not on the same night. Do not use this mechanical exfoliant with a powerful active ingredient such as high-concentration vitamin C or retinol during the same skincare session: the risk of irritation and redness increases. The recommended approach: use the peeling gel at the beginning of the week, and your concentrated active ingredients on other nights. Always apply a moisturizer after exfoliation to support the skin barrier.
