Korean NAD+ Treatments

This selection brings together Korean skincare products featuring NAD+, a coenzyme whose levels naturally decline with age and which is involved in cellular energy and DNA repair. The products available here are aimed at mature skin, dull complexions, and early loss of firmness. Korea was the first market to formulate these NAD+ skincare productsin mainstream cosmetics, often in combination with PDRN or peptides, while the West still reserved this molecule for dietary supplements.

Each product in this Korean NAD+ rangeis selected based on a complete review of its INCI list, not on the claim written on the bottle. We verify the actual position of niacinamide, a direct precursor to NAD+, as well as the presence of active ingredients that protect the molecule from its own degradation. The result is a concise selection, with full transparency about the formulas, rather than an entire shelf of interchangeable products. You know what you're buying, and more importantly, why.

How to choose your NAD+ supplement?

Three criteria are sufficient: the routine step where you want to integrate it, your age, and the condition of your skin barrier. The products available in this selection include toner, essence, and patches, thus three different textures and three different application times.

Toner, essence, or patch: which one to choose?

Toner is used first, on clean skin, and is suitable for already busy routines: it adds the active ingredient without adding a thick layer. Essence comes next and remains the most versatile format.

Patches are a one-off gesture, not daily. Reserve them for mornings when your eye contour shows signs of fatigue, or as a supplement to an existing routine.

Is NAD+ suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, this active ingredient is not inherently irritating. The risk comes from combining active ingredients, not from the molecule itself.

If your skin barrier is damaged, with redness or tightness, repair it first fortwo to three weeks. An anti-aging active ingredient applied to fragile skin rarely gives the expected results.

From what age does NAD+ become relevant?

Real interest begins when NAD+ decline becomes measurable, generally from35 years old. Before 30, daily sun protection will bring you more benefits.

Between 30 and 35, it's debatable: interesting if your basic routine is already solid, premature if you don't have SPF or a suitable moisturizer.

What is the best NAD+ treatment?

The choice is based on the routine step, not the advertised concentration. Three references cover the main needs in this category.

For a targeted firmness action, the Numbuzin No.9 NAD Bio Lifting-sil Essenceworks on elasticity on cleansed skin. If your complexion mainly lacks radiance, the Numbuzin No.9 NAD+ PDRN Glow Boosting Tonercombines NAD+ and PDRN from the first step. For the eye contour, the Numbuzin No.9 NAD Collagen Under Eye Patchestarget a thinner and more fragile area.

Before deciding, read what NAD+ really does for the skin: it helps avoid buying the wrong format.

    Best Korean brands for NAD+

Three brands carry this category for us, with distinct approaches to the same active ingredient.

Numbuzinhas built its entire No.9 line around NAD+, systematically coupling it with PDRN or collagen. It is the most comprehensive brand in this category, covering all routine steps. EQQUALBERRYfocuses on combining NAD+ and peptides in a unique serum format, with a short and clear INCI list. Haruharu Wonderapproaches the subject through fermentation and postbiotics, a brand signature consistent with its historical work on black rice.

Holy Skin tips for making the right choice

Noa, co-founder, discusses the most common mistake she observes in this still-recent category in France.

"The first thing people do is check if NAD+ is written on the bottle. Instead, look at where niacinamide is on the INCI list. That's what your skin transforms into NAD+, and if it's at the bottom of the list, you're mostly paying for a marketing claim. I prefer a product that is honest about its formula over a verbose packaging."

In concrete terms, turn the bottle over before buying. And if you don't know yet whether this active ingredient is right for your skin, our free skin diagnosiswill give you a more reliable answer than intuition.

      Frequently Asked Questions about NAD+

      checkbox

What are the benefits of NAD+ for the skin?

NAD+ supports cellular energy and DNA repair mechanisms, two functions that degrade with age. On the skin, this translates into better supported cell renewal and improved resistance to oxidative stress.

The available data on topical application primarily comes from laboratory studies on isolated cells. This is a serious avenue of research, but not yet a clinical certainty.

      checkbox

How often should I use a NAD+ treatment?

One application per day is sufficient, preferably in the evening. Cell repair processes are most active at night, making it the most opportune time for this active ingredient.

Doubling applications provides no proven benefit and primarily increases the risk of overloading your routine.

      checkbox

      Is NAD+ safe during pregnancy?

NAD+ and niacinamide are not among the active ingredients to avoid during pregnancy, unlike retinol. That said, many formulas in this category combine other ingredients.

Check the complete list and ask your doctor or midwife for advice before introducing a new product.

      checkbox

What is the difference between NAD+ in skincare and NAD+ as a supplement?

These are two distinct uses. A dietary supplement targets the entire body, with a different regulatory framework. A cosmetic product acts only on the skin layers it reaches.

No skin effect has been demonstrated for the ingested version. The two are not interchangeable, and this selection concerns only cosmetic use.

      checkbox

How long before I see a result?

Allow 4 to 6 weeksfor a more even complexion and 3 monthsfor skin texture. Firmness takes longer, around 6 monthsof regular use.

Epidermal renewal takes approximately 28 days, and this cycle lengthens with age. No metabolic active will show results in just a few days.

If you're still undecided between several formats or if you don't know your skin type precisely, start with the free skin diagnosisbefore choosing.
