DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Is your skin tight and uncomfortable daily? Dry skin lacks lipids: its skin barrier is weakened, allowing water to evaporate and the skin to react to the slightest aggressive care.

This routine combines COSRX's low-pH gentle cleanser, which cleanses without dehydrating, with Beauty of Joseon's Panthenol and Green Tea serum, which soothes and repairs irritations. The Dynasty Cream forms a rich protective film that deeply nourishes, while SKIN1004's Centella sun serum completes daytime protection without feeling heavy.

Result: supple, soothed, and comfortable skin in 2 to 3 weeks of regular use. Ideal for dry, sensitive, and reactive skin. Unlike classic routines, each product has been selected for its pH profile and its compatibility with Korean layering.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

  1. Cleansing (morning and evening)— Apply the COSRX Low pH Korean cleanserto a damp face, massage gently, and rinse with lukewarm water. Pat dry, do not rub.
  2. Serum (morning and evening)This is the key step in this routine.Dispense 2 to 3 drops of the Beauty of Joseon Calming Korean serumonto skin that is still slightly damp to maximize absorption.
  3. Moisturizer (morning and evening)— Apply the Dynasty Cream Korean moisturizerby massaging from the center outwards of the face. It seals in moisture and strengthens the skin barrier.
  4. Sun protection (morning only)— Finish with the SKIN1004 Sun Serum Korean sun serum. Gently pat to absorb. Reapply every two hours if exposed for prolonged periods.

💡To avoid any reaction, gradually introduce each new product into your routine. Your skin needs time to adapt! Also, remember to test the product on a small area of your hand before applying it to your face.

Frequently Asked Questions About Korean Skincare Routine for Dry Skin

    check_box

Is the Korean dry skin routine also suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. The four products in this routine have been selected for their soothing profile: alcohol-free formulas, without harsh fragrances, and with a low pH to respect the skin's microbiome. Dry and sensitive skin tolerates this type of routine well, provided each product is introduced gradually, one per week at most.

How long does it take to see the first results?

The first improvements (less tightness, better comfort) are generally felt within the first week of use. Lasting effects on the skin barrier and skin texture are visible after 3 to 4 weeks of regular morning and evening routine.

Can this Korean dry skin routine be used with vitamin C or retinol?

Yes, but with precautions. The Beauty of Joseon Calming serum contains niacinamide, which is compatible with vitamin C and retinol. If you are incorporating a retinol, use it only in the evening after the serum and wait a few minutes before applying your cream. In case of irritation, space out applications.

Is the 10-step Korean routine suitable for dry skin?

The traditional Korean routine can have up to 10 steps, but this 4-product version is designed to be effective and accessible. Dry skin benefits more from targeted and regular hydration than from layering textures. You can supplement with a toner or essence after checking your skin's compatibility.

What is the difference between dry skin and dehydrated skin?

Dry skin is a skin type characterized by a lack of lipids and insufficient sebum production. It is permanent and hereditary. Dehydrated skin is a temporary condition, caused by a lack of water in the superficial layers, and can affect all skin types. This routine primarily targets dry skin by restoring the hydrolipidic film.
