YesStyle review 2026: reliable, scam or just complicated?

Is YesStyle reliable in 2026? Delays, customs, fake reviews: the real assessment before ordering.

YesStyle est-ce un site fiable ? Notre avis avant de commander 🚨 - Holy Skin

Hesitating to splurge on a moisturizer or serum from YesStyle? Before you pull out your credit card, here's what the reviews don't always tell you.

YesStyle is not a scam, but ordering from it comes with real risks that most guides gloss over. Delivery times of 2 to 5 weeks from Hong Kong, unpredictable customs fees over 150 euros, and sometimes damaged packaging upon arrival: this is what the 101,300 Trustpilot reviews (score 4.3/5) reveal once you look closely. This guide sorts through it all, unfiltered, so you can make an informed decision.

What YesStyle really is before you order 🧐

YesStyle is a marketplace founded in Hong Kong in 2006, specializing in Asian fashion and beauty. It doesn't manufacture anything: it aggregates third-party sellers who sell Korean, Japanese, and Chinese brands. In concrete terms, you order from France from a company based in Hong Kong, which explains most of its operational limitations.

The catalog is massive, over 80,000 references, with brands like COSRX, Beauty of Joseon, Medicube, and Laneige, often priced 20 to 40% lower than specialized European stores. This is the main appeal, and it is real. It's not comparable to Shein: YesStyle sells authentic products from established brands, not copies. The real question is not the reliability of the products themselves, but the overall shopping experience.

YesStyle delivery times in France, the quantified reality ⏱️

yesstyle-article-1 - Holy Skin

This is the point that generates the most frustration, and queries like "YesStyle delivery time" or "YesStyle shipping time" account for several thousand monthly searches in France, a sign of real frustration that is poorly addressed on the site itself.

YesStyle advertises delivery times of 7 to 20 business days, but experience feedback on Trustpilot indicates 2 to 5 weeks in practice, sometimes longer during peak periods (end of year, sales). The package departs from Hong Kong or warehouses in Korea depending on the sellers, passes through French customs, then goes through a local service provider. Each of these steps can delay the order for several days, and package tracking often remains imprecise during transit.

YesStyle customs fees, the hidden cost 🚨

Since July 1, 2021, imports from non-EU countries are subject to French VAT from the first euro. YesStyle generally collects this VAT at the time of purchase via the IOSS system, which prevents customs blockage in most cases.

However, be aware: orders exceeding 150 euros are likely to be held by French customs for verification and may incur additional customs duties (approximately 3.7% for cosmetics). In practice, orders under 150 euros generally arrive without unexpected fees. Above that, the risk increases and can add 15 to 25 euros to an order of 180 euros, for example.

YesStyle products: authentic or counterfeit? ✅

The vast majority of products sold on YesStyle are authentic. The platform works with official distributors and established brands. Counterfeit cases are marginal and mainly concern lesser-known third-party sellers.

The real point of friction is not authenticity, but the condition of the packaging upon arrival. Reviews regularly mention crumpled boxes or bottles that have leaked during transit. Liquid cosmetics (toners, serums, cleansing oils) are the most exposed during transit for several weeks. According to an analysis of Trustpilot FR reviews, over 30% of negative reviews mention packaging condition or a delivery issue, compared to less than 10% that question product authenticity.

Expert advice: many rely on "closed product" photos in reviews to judge quality. This type of review says nothing about the texture or actual results; it mainly serves to unlock YesStyle loyalty credits. Instead, look for reviews with photos of the product open or applied to the skin; they are much more reliable.

Can YesStyle reviews really be trusted? 🤔

This is a question that often comes up on Reddit, in communities dedicated to Asian skincare. The mechanism is well-known: YesStyle offers store credit for every review left, with a bonus if a photo is attached. As a result, some reviews are written to get the credit rather than to share a real product experience, often with a photo of the unopened package and an overly enthusiastic review without details.

This doesn't mean all reviews are useless. More experienced users filter differently: they prioritize long reviews with photos of the product in use, which compare the effect to other known references, and are wary of overly generic formulations or those that resemble a copy-paste of the product description.

YesStyle customer service, what reviews say 📩

This is the most divisive point. The platform has a rating of 4.3/5 on Trustpilot from over 99,000 reviews, which places it in acceptable territory for an e-commerce site, with 70% 5-star reviews. For comparison, specialized European K-Beauty stores like Holy Skin have 4.9/5 from 1200+ reviews.

Recurring complaints in negative reviews:

  • Slow responses in case of lost or damaged packages
  • Partial refunds offered instead of a full reshipment
  • Customer service only in English via chat
  • Imprecise order tracking during transit

Positive reviews, conversely, highlight the rich catalog, attractive prices, and smooth deliveries for modest orders under 80 euros.

YesStyle vs French K-Beauty stores, what to choose? 🛒

There is no absolute right or wrong choice, only different trade-offs depending on your priority.

Your situation The right choice
Specific item unavailable elsewhere, you can wait YesStyle, under 100 euros for a first test
You want to build a complete routine or offer a product Store with stock in France, fast delivery

Verdict, should you order from YesStyle in 2026? 🎯

YesStyle is not a fraudulent site. The products are authentic, the prices are genuinely competitive, and many orders go smoothly. The problem is structural: a Hong Kong-based platform cannot offer the same logistical reliability as a stock based in Europe, and its customer service is not scaled to handle claims in French.

Three key takeaways: products are authentic but packaging and long transit remain the real risk, customs fees practically only apply beyond 150 euros, and the most reliable reviews are those showing the product in use rather than the closed package.

If you want a curated selection of the best Korean brands, delivered in 2 to 3 days with a free skin diagnosis, you can explore our Korean serum catalog, our Korean moisturizers, or take the free skin diagnosis to know exactly what to choose.

We are very disappointed with these extremely long delivery times. We placed our order on April 5, and when we placed it, we were told that the items would arrive by April 22. However, according to the tracking information, the items weren’t even shipped until April 18.

Your delivery promises are nothing but lies!

We hate Yesstyle.com! Never again, and I’m going to tell everyone about this terrible experience!

FAQ: YesStyle review 2026: reliable, scam or just complicated?

checkbox

Is YesStyle a reliable website?

Yes, it's not a scam. The products are authentic and the prices are genuinely competitive. The real risk is logistical: long delays, customs to watch out for beyond 150 euros, and customer service not well adapted to the French market. It's not the reliability of the products that's the problem, it's the overall shopping experience.

checkbox

Where do YesStyle products come from?

YesStyle is a Hong Kong-based marketplace founded in 2006. It does not manufacture anything itself: it aggregates third-party sellers who ship from Hong Kong or from warehouses in Korea, depending on the brand. This international supply chain is the main reason for the announced delivery times.

checkbox

Are YesStyle products authentic?

Yes, overwhelmingly so. YesStyle works with official distributors and established brands like COSRX or Beauty of Joseon. Cases of counterfeiting remain marginal and mostly concern less identifiable third-party sellers. The real point of concern is not authenticity but the condition of the packaging upon arrival, especially for liquid cosmetics.

Can the reviews left on YesStyle be trusted?

You have to sort through them. YesStyle offers store credit for every review submitted, with a photo bonus, which encourages some users to write a quick review with no real detail just to get the reward. Prioritize long reviews, with photos of the product in use rather than of the closed package. For a more predictable shopping experience, Holy Skin'sskin diagnosticallows you to directly target the right products without having to sort through reviews.
